Introduced by Erny, my Indonesian neighbour at work. She sure has great taste in food. It's one of the most authentic Indo food I hv tried in Singapore! Slightly on the pricey side comparing to its competitors in Lucky Plaza but it sure is worth every penny!
Efficient service, friendly staff. I left my lovely, lovely umbrella at the restaurant. After realizing it few days later (Yes, I know it's too long), it's still kept and in one piece (Thank God!).
The Nasi Kuning and Nasi Rames are a must try! The spices will be dancing on yr tongue and you will be begging for more!

The Reluctant Dragon and The Wind in the WillowsBy Kenneth Grahame, music by John Rutter
Presented by Singapore Lyric Opera
22-24 May at Victoria Theatre, Singapore
The performance was first staged at Esplanade in August 2007 with all 6 performances sold out!
A very different kind of opera from those that I hv been watching, mainly because it's a children's opera - appeals to the young and the young at heart.
The Reluctant Dragon is a story about friendship with people different from ourselves. The Wind in the Willows is a cautionary tale about the dangers of materialism and what it means to be truly happy.
It's funny to see the Singapore Lyric Opera's (SLO) Children Choir rush in and out of the stage with props that's looks similar from IKEA. But I'm amazed that how they can turn one simple prop to something useful at the other scene.
But I hv to say, there are really some great talents there, especially the soloist from Lasalle College of the Arts - Christopher Benjamin, who acted as the Dragon in The Reluctant Dragon and as Toad in The Wind in the Willows.
Thanks to Bukudu, who hv won the tickets from Kinokuniya!
